UoM Graduation Fashion Show 2011

Graduation Fashion Show of University of Moratuwa Department of Textile & Clothing Technology was held recently. This is the first ever Fashion Design Degree in Sri Lanka established within the University system which provided opportunities to students each year to embark on a professional career in creative industries involving Fashion Design & Product Development. Sadeema Fernando, Sumudu Prasadini, Isha Erandi,Charitha Waidyasiri, Rozelle Plunkett, Gowri Weerasuriya,Treshiya Kristina and many SL Models catwalked on this show.

Miss Sri Lanka 2011 beauties....

Electronic media Derana together with Veet will bring Miss Sri Lanka 2011 for the fifth consecutive time in a row. Twelve contestants with the hope of winning the crown will participate in the final which is scheduled to be held in May 2011. The potential Miss Sri Lanka faces, Aloka Weerasingha, Anne Piumali Jayamanna, Charitha Waidyasiri, Chamupa Godage, Erandi Jayewardena, Nimasha De Silva, Shashika Sanjeewanee, Shimalka Bodaragama, Thushen Wimalarathne, Oushi Perera, Pushpika de Silva and Uddima Oshadi as seen at this pageant.
