Traditional Home Party in NYC

Last Night I attended the Traditional Home party at the New York Design center. 

Mingling here & there, which I'm not very good at by the way....I came across many beautiful furnishings! I photographed several for all of you to see! So much eye-candy, I wanted to take it all home! Too bad I don't have anymore space! They served up several interesting cocktails but I loved the cucumber mojitos (with cucumber pulp) they were so tasty.... & I don't even drink! 
 

While at the party I met up with Naomi of Design Manifest, Ashlina of The Decorista, Crystal editor of Rue Magazine & finally met Michelle Adams editor of Lonny Magazine, which I accidentally called Michelle Williams on Twitter! Ugh, I'm so crazy, sorry! Perhaps it was the loud Indian music blasting in the cab (as I left the event) ...my head was SERIOUSLY spinning!!

Halloween Party Inspiration...

Welcome back! We're almost at the end of October, you know what that means? Yup, Halloween. 

This is a SUPER fun Holiday -we can get dressed up, go to Haunted houses, watch scary movie marathons, go trick or treating, attend Halloween parties, eat lots of CANDY & so on! 

The last time I dressed up for Halloween was about 4 years ago. I was Amy Winehouse.... I even drew an "I love Blake" tattoo on my arm!  So fun!  However, my wish has always been to attend a party where the hosts go nuts with really cool decorations!

Entertaining in Gold...

Hello everyone!

I'm already thinking about the upcoming Holidays, Thanksgiving & Christmas. I love Holidays! First, the world (for the most part) gets to celebrate these important dates.... & two, we get to DECORATE our homes for entertaining! 
Dinner parties can be so much fun...!

For myself, I prefer to keep the guest list at about 5-6 people at my place - just feels more intimate.  

What about you.. do you prefer bigger parties??
