Are you killing your feet for fashion??

Ok, I'm guilty. 

Last weekend I decided to walk 12 blocks in my high heel booties & boy, was that a mistake?!? 

My HUSBAND usually warns me before going out with him. He starts by saying, "sweetheart, please wear comfortable shoes." Of course I tell him,  "But I like looking sexy for you."  Well.....sexy ends up turning into, "ugh, my feet are killing me!" & him saying, "Jen, what did I tell you?"  

Ever been in that scenario ladies??

So, on that note.... this SPRING, my wardrobe will include MORE flats. I have to say, since moving back to NYC - I've walked more than EVER!!!! 

In fact, I walk about 6 miles per week just for exercise alone....not counting the days I walk around shopping. Many of you New yorkers know these streets are rough on your feet. With that said, I'm not about to KILL my feet, so looks like flats are the way to go this Spring! I probably won't give up heels completely, but a break every now & then is in order. What do you say ladies??

Giuseppe Zanotti is a genius designer.
 

I've been a fan of his shoes for quiet sometime now - they are super sexy! So you can imagine how excited I was to see his NEW shop at Caesars Palace! I was even more excited when I saw this leopard print (pony hair) handbag from the 2011 collection....and held it in my hands!! It has a beautiful & distinct leopard pattern....one that looks like it came from the ACTUAL leopard. Know what I mean?!?!  

It's now one of my dream bags! The clutch that matches is also super duper pretty....

Giuseppe actually used to be a DJ in the early 80's. But he had a passion for women’s feet & an interest in the craft industry which led him to take a BIG step towards the FASHION industry!

A Master Closet...(Via Made By Girl)

This weekend/week while I'm away - I'll be bringing you a few closets from other bloggers & readers plus a couple home tours! I may also be blogging directly from NYC with posts of my trip! 

Every time I walk by my closet, I get a peek at my guy's closet...(It's a BIG mess). My guy is now thinking about re-doing his closet & he really loved this one! I have to agree with him, this closet is super neat!!

It isn't the LARGEST closet in the world, but it seems to cover all the bases. Lots of room for shoes, hats, dress shirts, jeans, socks & underwear! Perfect for what my guy needs to store....

Hopefully my guy can keep his closet just as NEAT at this one!
