Calypso Home in NYC....

Hi again!  It's been so busy around here. Sometimes, I stop & wonder how I manage to do all the things I do.  Many days, I'm EXHAUSTED...& on top of work, I've been dealing with a lot of personal things lately, some good, some bad...I wish I could tell you EVERYTHING that's going on right now, but it would take an entire post & I'm not even sure I'm ready. Praying that God will guide us in the right direction is all we can do. Either way, the show must go on & work is what we do, right? So, here I go, doing what I LOVE to do, write. 
 

Today, I wanted to introduce you to a wonderful shop here in Manhattan called Calypso Home. 


I'm sure many of you New Yorkers already know this cool little place, but for those who don't.... it's one of my favorite stores along with Lillian August, so if you're headed to NYC - you must stop at both! Take a look at all the goodies they have for the home!

Where Do You Shop in NYC?

Like you...I know a ton of great online stores to shop for furniture & home accessories....such as the ones featured in this post! However, now that I'm in NYC, I'm wondering where to shop for items like these?!?!?

Ok New Yorkers, please give me your opinion on what stores you think are the coolest in this city. I'm STILL looking for a couple things & have already visited places like West Elm, CB2 & Crate & Barrel. Even though they have nice things, I'd love to add something unique to the mix of items in my place!

Can you point me to a few little shops that sell unique pieces? Let us all know where you love to shop!  I'd love to go by this weekend!

My FALL Fashion....

Welcome back! SORRY I missed 'My Weekend' post.  I didn't really do ANYTHING interesting this weekend so it may have been a BORING picture....no, actually I was just crazy busy & didn't get to it, sorry!! 

On another note, I wanted to talk about my favorite season.....Fall. It starts a few months after my birthday with the weather cooling down & the leaves falling from the trees.  
 

Of course, it's the perfect time to wear scarves, boots & even leather pants - if you dare right??!! I gathered a few items that I'm sooo thinking about getting & can't wait to get my hands on some of these! Of course, NOT all this will come home with me, or my bank account will BURST!
 

So, tell me are you excited that FALL is around the corner?? Have you started shopping for fall yet??
